PRIVATE WRITING COACH

A private writing coach helps writers elevate their skill in all aspects of the writing craft.
A good coach is versed in grammar, composition, and the basic elements of writing, but we also tend to higher order tasks, such as deeper-level analysis, research synthesis, and writing process development.
A great coach goes further, fully investing in your journey as a writer. We provide expertise, support, insight, and motivation. Under our guidance, your writing competency will increase substantially, reducing your dependency on generic algorithmic tools.
Writing can be challenging. You don’t have to do it alone.
I work with clients one-on-one virtually in two areas of expertise: academic writing and creative writing.
My process is structured, and my approach is rooted in competency, research, and community. I assess your needs, develop a tailored plan to reach your goals, and deliver evidence-based tutoring in a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
No matter the size and scope of your project, you're guaranteed to leave our session with clarity and confidence in your work.
Every new client starts with a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us both a chance to make sure we're a good fit before you commit.
We'll talk through your goals, timeline, and any concerns relevant to your project. You’ll begin your first coaching session with a clear plan for progress. We'll also decide how many sessions you might need. We can meet for one session or twenty. It’s really up to you!
I offer flexible availability, affordable coaching fees, and packages for those interested in long-term coaching.
