Private Writing Coach
A private writing coach helps writers elevate their skill in all aspects of the writing craft.
A good coach is versed in grammar, composition, and the basic elements of writing, but we also tend to higher order tasks, such as deeper-level analysis, research synthesis, and writing process development.
A great coach goes further, fully investing in your journey as a writer. We provide expertise, support, insight, and motivation.
Under our guidance, your writing will improve substantially, increasing your competency and reducing your dependency on generic algorithmic tools.
Writing can be challenging. You don’t have to do it alone.

I work with clients one-on-one virtually in two areas of expertise: academic writing and creative writing.
My process is structured. I assess your needs, develop a tailored plan to reach your goals, and deliver evidence-based coaching techniques in a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
No matter the size or scope of your project, you're guaranteed to leave our session with clarity and confidence in your work.

Every new client meets with me for a free 15-minute consultation. It's important to make sure we're a good fit before you commit.
We'll talk through your concerns, timeline, and any other topics relevant to your work. You will begin your first coaching session with a clear plan for progress.
We will also decide how many sessions you will need. We can meet for one session or twenty--it's really up to you!
I offer flexible availability and affordable coaching fees.

Strengthen your dissertation. Refine your research paper. Synthesize your data. Secure that scholarship. Win that grant. Write the essay of your life. Build your competency. Gain your confidence.

Develop your writing process. Tame your early drafts. Edit with intention. Perfect your tone. Find your voice. Shape your manuscript. Finish your query. Or let your poetry fly free. Come wordsmith with me!
